We are over the moon about our upcoming tour to NYC to perform our debut recital at Carnegie Hall. It will take place in Weill Recital hall, an intimate hall that is perfect for small ensembles like Cantala. Mark your calendar-the recital is on Friday April 11, 2025. Tickets are available online through the Carnegie Hall website.

The program will include works from many Canadian composers including James Rolfe and Marie-Claire Saidon and titles of works that are loved by audiences including Hallelujah (Cohen), and All The Little Rivers of Canada (Nickel). We will be presenting two 45 minute halves in this concert-one completely acapella and the other half accompanied by Asal Iranmehr, Collaborative Pianist. It will be a night to cherish and enjoy as we present beautiful works from our Canadian borders to people from all over the world. What an opportunity and chance to spread choral JOY.

Other plans for the Fall include presenting a seasonal concert on Saturday December 7th, 2024 called The Lost Words: A Spell Book, at Forest Hill United Church, Toronto and performing at a local hospice. We endeavour to give back to our community and share our passion for singing. Come and join us today! Auditions are ongoing. We are now looking for people to join us for our upcoming 16th season-2024-2025.
